Vaccine Visionary
An estimated 42 million people worldwide live with HIV/AIDS, including almost 1 million people in the U.S. The search for a vaccine to prevent the disease is led by Lance Gordon, '78, Ph.D., whose company conducted the first large-scale human trials of an AIDS vaccine.
